ALT Industrial Cleaner / Degreaser
is a powerful non-hazardous, liquid concentrate degreaser. This
free rinsing industrial degreaser effectively replaces ozone
depleting chemicles such as TCE, PCE, corrosive caustic cleaners,
and solvent type degreasers. ALT cleaner and degreaser meets
today's tougher environmental regulations while safeguarding
employees' health and safety concerns. Extraneous oils, dirt,
and impurities are quickly removed from parts with ALT Industrial
Cleaner / Degreasers' unique formula. ALT Degreaser is safe
to use on all types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. ALT's
non-toxic formula allows for convenient, low cost disposal.
Common applications for ALT Industrial Cleaner / Degreaser include:
Spraywash Cabinets, Heated Dip Tanks, Ultrasonic Systems, and
even Hand-Wiping Applications.
Characteristics
Through the use of surface active agents, ALT penetrates and
loosens the bond of substrate oil by lowering surface and interfacial
tension. Oil droplets are coated with a thin film of surfactant
and are immiscibly sequestered to the surface of your cleaning
solution and away from your part. Since ALT does not become
saturated with these tramp oils (that is to say ALT does not
emulsify oil), the oils are dispersed within the solution thereby
enabling this product to be reused many times, as much as four
times longer than caustic cleaners. ALT prevents sludge build-up
within your cleaning system. This translates into keeping the
equipment free of lime and particle build-up on and around heating
coils and spray-nozzles.
Further Properties
A biodegradable concentrate that dilutes in water. (In a 5%
solution each 55 gallon barrel provide 1,100 gallons of one
of the most powerful cleaning and degreasing solutions!)
